Johnny, a wanna be rock and roll player sets out on a whimsical adventure where he finds himself whirled away to the Land of Funky Town after being hit on the head during a tornado. There he meets several quirky and creative characters and the adventure begins. From the Little Dancing Divas, to the Spice Girls, Johnny learns from the Good Fairy that he must go to Rock City and meet the King in hopes of getting back home. Along his journey, Johnny meets Cindy, Mr. T. and Wiggles who all seemingly need help and join Johnny on his adventure to meet the King. Directed by Jason and Lisa Weiss, this humorous and playful musical features over 250 young and talented dancers and a professional cast of outstanding actors. Come celebrate Santa Fe Springs Dance Centers 31st year of great musical performances here at the Downey Civic Theatre on June 22nd and June 23rd.
